Dr. Emad Elmarakby, DPT/RPT/CCI

Doctor of Physical Therapy/Director

Dr. Emad Elmarakby is a graduate of Boston University. He obtained a post graduate fellowship degree in orthopedic’s from the university of Michigan before working exclusively in outpatient/inpatient Orthopedics developing his practice and philosophy based on Mechanical & Functional Biomechanics. He specializes in musculoskeletal, neurological, vascular & cardiac conditions. He is a member & certified clinical instructor of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Dr. Elmarakby has performed well over 2 million treatments in the field of Physical Therapy.

Working exclusively in Outpatient / Inpatient Orthopedics, Dr. Elmarakby has developed his practice philosophy based on Mechanical and Functional Biomechanics, specializing in musculoskeletal, neurological, vascular and cardiac conditions. As well, Dr. Elmarakby is a member and certified clinical instructor of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He is also a McKenzie trained Manual Physical Therapist though the North American McKenzie Institute of Mechanical Diagnosis of the Spine and Extremities. Currently Dr. Elmarakby is the CEO of both Universal Physical Therapy and his home health care agency.

Dr. Emad's interests center primarily around his family. He enjoys golf, running and soccer coaching activities.
